the art of stained glass
Richard trained at the Edinburgh College of art in the school of drawing and painting and became an art teacher.
After coming out of teaching, he began studying stained glass at the Glasgow School of Art under Edith Keith which he continues to do.
He now has a studio at his home in the village of Blackness. The ancient part of the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow, some 16 miles from Edinburgh.
He exhibits his glass and paintings regularly and accepts commissions for both.
